PAA's Regional Studies

PAA were responsible for the the report 'Ageing Assets: implications of population ageing for the South East Region published in November 2005. This reoprt was prepared for the Social Inclusion Partnership South East (SIPSE) Older People Action Group.

PAA carried out the research for a scoping study, published in December 2003, on population ageing and productivity in London: 'Making Age Work for London'.  This was commissioned by Age Concern London and funded by the London development Agency and the 3rd Sector Alliance.  The report sets the scene for improved awareness of ageing and demographic changes as strategic issues for London.

PAA were responsible for the report 'The implications of an ageing population for the sustainable development of the East of England', published in June 2003.  It was commissioned by the East of England Regional Assembly, East of England Development Agency, Age Concern, Eastern Region Public Health Observatory, and the Government Office for the East of England.  The report covers the implications of an ageing population for the labour market, housing,, health, transport, rural aspects, consumer markets, cultural development and social capital.
